Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a one-year temporary, Instructor/Assistant Professor in Physical Education and Health Pedagogy position. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The position also offers substantial health and retirement benefits.

Position: Instructor/Assistant Professor, One-Year Temporary, in Physical Education and Health Pedagogy
Qualifications: Master of Science degree from a regionally accredited institution in health, physical education, curriculum development, or a closely related field; doctoral degree or ABD near completion is preferred.
- At least three years health/physical education teaching experience, PreK-12
- Some experience teaching in higher education is preferred

Compensation and Employee Benefits
Instructor/Assistant Professor, One-Year Temporary, in Physical Education and Health Pedagogy is compensated at the Instructor/Assistant Professor salary level in accordance with [CSCU Human Resources Policies for Management and Confidential Professional Personnel, or Connecticut State University American Association of University Instructors/Professors (CSU-AAUP) Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement, or State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF)].
