Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Temporary Instructor or Assistant Professor, Management & Marketing position. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The position also offers substantial health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications: MBA or terminal degree in business administration, management, or marketing from an accredited institution is required. ABD candidates are welcome to apply. Significant management/business experience is desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarly and professional activities, and a willingness to be active in service to the University and community.

Position Description: Candidates should be able to teach in several areas of the undergraduate management and marketing programs, including liberal arts core courses. Candidates are expected to advise students and support undergraduate research. This is a one-year appointment, renewable annually for up to three years, contingent upon performance and institutional need. This is a non-tenure track position.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The Instructor or Assistant Professor is compensated at the appropriate salary range depending on the title of the hired candidate in accordance with Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors (CSU-AAUP) Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.
