Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the 1-Year, Full-Time Temporary Instructor for AY 2026-2027 Instructor or Assistant Professor of Management (Entrepreneurship) position. Eastern is Connecticut’s Public Liberal Arts University and is located in Willimantic, Connecticut which is 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from New York City. Eastern is one of four universities in the Connecticut State College and University System (CSCU). The position also offers substantial health and retirement benefits.

Position Description: Candidates should be able to teach in several areas of the undergraduate management program with primary focus on Entrepreneurship in both the major and liberal arts core courses. Experience or interest in integrating AI applications into entrepreneurship courses is preferred. Candidates are expected to advise students and support undergraduate research. This is a one-year appointment, renewable annually for up to three years, contingent upon performance and institutional need. This is a non-tenure track position.
Qualifications: MBA or terminal degree in business administration, management, or entrepreneurship from an accredited institution is required. ABD candidates are welcome to apply. Significant management/business experience is desirable. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarly and professional activates, and a willingness to be active in service to the University and community.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The 1-Year, Full-Time Temporary Instructor for AY 2026-2027, Instructor or Assistant Professor of Management (Entrepreneurship). is compensated at the Instructor or Assistant Professor salary level in accordance with Connecticut State University American Association of University Professors (CSU-AAUP) Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.
